WorldTel Corporation Introduces CearioTrader, a Voluntary Carbon Credit Trading Platform for Offset Buyers and Wholesale Desks

Buyers can request Verra and Cercarbono credits through the platform, with transfer and retirement handled through WorldTel’s active Verra and EcoRegistry accounts

Charlotte, NC November 04, 2026 –(PR.com)– WorldTel Corporation today introduced CearioTrader, a voluntary carbon credit trading platform for organizations that buy carbon credits to offset their emissions and for wholesale desks and resellers that place credits with end buyers. CearioTrader is operated by WorldTel Corporation through its Sustainability Division and is available at ceariotrader.com.

WorldTel holds an active Verra registry account and an active EcoRegistry account for the Cercarbono program. CearioTrader can hold, transfer and retire verified carbon credits, including retirement on behalf of buyers, through WorldTel’s Verra and EcoRegistry accounts. Buyers can request Verra-registered credits and Cercarbono credits through a request for proposal on ceariotrader.com, and WorldTel reviews and processes each request and completes the transfer or retirement at the relevant registry.

CearioTrader works as a broker and trader. WorldTel does not own or develop carbon projects. The platform’s role is to connect buyers with credits and to handle each credit from transfer through retirement.

The Sustainability Division is built around three brands with distinct roles. LBM Daily publishes carbon and built-environment market intelligence, including the monthly Market Barometer and coverage of embodied carbon, mass timber, codes and environmental product declarations (EPDs), forest carbon and timber, and compliance and trade. Widman provides forest carbon project assessment and advisory. CearioTrader is where the division’s market knowledge and project assessment reach the buyer.

“Buyers want to know where a credit came from and what happens to it after they pay for it,” said Richard Butler, Co-Founder and Vice President of WorldTel Corporation. “CearioTrader sits inside a division that assesses forest carbon projects and follows this market every month. We want every buyer on CearioTrader to be informed by that monthly market analysis.”

Wholesale desks and resellers can also request availability and indicative pricing through ceariotrader.com. Details of available credits are shared with identified counterparties.

On September 29, 2026, WorldTel Corporation and InterstellarM2M announced the Ceario Carbon Exchange Alliance, formed under a Strategic Alliance Agreement executed February 11, 2026.
