SecondSight announced six senior appointments to lead the company’s expansion into additional lines of business.

Together, they have experience leading cyber teams at Marsh and Woodruff Sawyer, overseeing operations for CAC Specialty’s private equity practice, and working across carriers including AIG, Chubb and Travelers. The appointments follow SecondSight’s recent Series A funding and Jamie Bouloux’s appointment as President.

“Brokers need to help clients understand their exposures and make informed insurance decisions. Underwriters and portfolio leaders need to understand how those risks affect the books they manage,” said Jamie Bouloux, President of SecondSight. “We’ve assembled leaders who bring firsthand experience across brokerage, carriers and technology. Their experience will help us focus the technology on the decisions that matter and help clients put it to work.”

SecondSight’s operating system, SHAPE, learns from customers’ own data and external signals to reveal how risks connect and evolve. Grounded in traceable evidence, its intelligence helps brokers, underwriters and executives anticipate exposures and act on growth opportunities.

About the Executives

Derek Foreman, Chief Operating Officer, brings more than two decades of experience scaling technology and operations in highly regulated insurance markets. He joins SecondSight from Bloom Insurance, where he spent 17 years as Chief Operating Officer and later Chief Technology Officer, helping grow revenue from $5 million to $80 million. As CTO, Derek raised the capital to launch Ascend, a SaaS quoting and enrollment platform, and led its growth through SOC 2 compliance, a cloud migration, and expansion into mobile, voice, and individual marketplace products.

Dan Shoten, Chief Customer Officer, joins SecondSight with deep operational and financial expertise across the startup ecosystem. Most recently, he served as Managing Partner at Zag Capital, a single-family office with investments in startups, venture capital, real estate and services businesses. Previously, Dan spent a decade as an early operator at several high-growth startups including AppNexus (Acquired), OrderGroove and Rockerbox (Acquired). His experience includes establishing customer success and support functions from the ground up, developing client onboarding, engagement and reporting processes, and building and leading teams through growth.

David Anderson, CIPP/US, Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Client Engagement, brings more than a decade of insurance brokerage and risk management consulting experience. He previously served as Vice President of Cyber at Woodruff Sawyer, U.S. Head of Cyber at McGill and Partners, and Head of Major Accounts at Lockton.
