Multi-phase expansion adds new high-speed injection molding lines and integrated automation to serve growing retail and foodservice demand

ST. CHARLES, Ill., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — CuBE Packaging Solutions Inc. (“CuBE” or the “Company”), a leading North American manufacturer of premium, reusable food containers, and a Kent Road Capital portfolio company, today announced that it is investing more than $30 million to expand its U.S. manufacturing facility in St. Charles, Illinois. The investment includes the renovation of the facility together with a multi-phase installation of new high-speed injection molding machines and integrated end-of-line automation. The investment strengthens CuBE’s North American supply chain and expands its domestic production capacity for U.S. customers.

The St. Charles facility, which entered production in late 2025, anchors the Company’s U.S. manufacturing footprint and complements its flagship operation in Aurora, Ontario, one of the largest single-site food storage injection molding facilities in North America. The expansion will significantly increase CuBE’s U.S. production capacity and will create new manufacturing jobs in St. Charles and the surrounding Fox Valley region.

Founded in 2009, CuBE manufactures reusable, recyclable polypropylene food containers that are microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe, serving blue-chip retail, grocery, restaurant, and foodservice customers across the United States and Canada. Demand for the Company’s products has accelerated as retailers and restaurant operators shift toward higher-quality, sustainable packaging for takeout, delivery, and private label programs.
